DVC delivers two ClipRecorder XTreme with advanced MPEG-Proxy-Encoding to Sony DADC

The two ClipRecorder XTreme are used as uncompressed ingest stations for Sony DADC's DVD Production Center. The ClipRecorders are interfaced with an IBM NAS via 10Gbit Ethernet and feature real-time capture and storage of uncompressed 10bit HD files.
The new advanced proxy encoding options generate MPEG-1 proxy clips during the record of uncompressed content.

New functions at a glance:

• Encode while record (selectable - choices are: "After Record", "During Record", "Off")
• HD to SD downres (selectable - options are: HD to SD with letterbox, HD to SD anamorphic, HD to HD, SD to SD)
• Time-code overlay burnin (selectable) - free positioning of time-code-overlay
• Free selection of encoded audio pairs
• Complete new encoding configuration and status interface
