WORKFLOWERS RELEASES NEW PLUGINS FOR LUSTRE

La Madeleine, October 19 2009 – Cedric Lejeune's company specialized in digital cinema servicing launches a brand new version of its famous plugins for high-quality color grading.

Since they have been released a year ago, WF_x plugins have been providing happiness to some of the greatest colorists, from Los Angeles to Sydney via Montreal. They have been used on a number of projects, being feature film, TV series, commercials or animation. One of those plugins has been used to develop the very caracteristic look of Polytechnique by Pierre Gill at Technicolor Montreal (http://new.csc.ca/news/default.asp?aID=1378).

This success encouraged Workflowers team to make a new version of those plugins now better, faster, more creative and ergonomic.

Key features of this new version :

  • Plugins are now multi-threaded which increases tenfold performances and allows real-time rendering on almost every effect;

  • Blending modes (multiply, overlay, soft light, screen...), a strongly awaited feature. Photoshop aficionados knows very well these modes that multiply by eleven creation possibilities;

  • New interface entirely re-thought and re-organized in a concern of ergonomic improvement for the operator;

  • Image export from the Grade Bin, another very asked for feature;

  • All plugins algorithms have been optimized.
