WF_x plugins bring happiness to CinePostproduction Geyer Berlin colorists

CinePostproduction Geyer Berlin, one of the largest and longest-established film laboratories in Europe is now empowering its color grading process with WF_x plugins for Autodesk Lustre by Workflowers.

The second version of WF_x plugins have been released last month and offers colorists even more potential, notably by introducing blending modes which extends dramatically possibilities in term of creativity.

Sebastian Göhs, the colorist behind award-winning and critically acclaimed Waltz with Bashir fell in love with it : “ I finally got the chance to use WF_x plugins and they rock bigtime!”. CinePostproduction Geyer Berlin ordered WF_x packages for their Lustre stations and thus delight the color grading team as well as their clients, always asking for stylish and sophisticated look for their pictures. Key features introduced in WF_x v2:

• Plugins are now multi-threaded and optimized which increases tenfold performances and allows real-time rendering on almost every effect;
• Blending modes (multiply, overlay, soft light, screen…), a long awaited feature for Photoshop aficionados who know very well these, multiplies Autodesk Lustre’s creative potential
• New interface entirely re-thought and re-organized in a concern of ergonomic improvement for the operator
• Image export from the Grade Bin
